Marley and Me

Sometimes, I swear, Sydney is the most fresh puppy ever. She's also the cutest, hands down. You can't help but love her, and I'm pretty sure, she secretly knows it.

When I first heard about Marley and Me, I emailed Stacey. The brief excerpt read like a page out of our lives last November or December. I couldn't believe the subtitle, either: "Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog." As I clearly knew, Grogan's experience with Marley, couldn't have been as bad as our fresh dog, the Kidney Bean. A few weeks later was Mother's day, and knowing how much my Mother-in-law thought Sydney was cute, and the stories I've heard about Cammie and even (St.) Sundance, I knew she'd appreciate the book. We bought it for her, but with the stipulation that I needed to read it when she was done.

I'm so glad I did.

Read the book if you love animals...especially if you've had that dog. Somewhere, through it all, I thought of all 4 dogs I've ever had...and even once about the cat. Too much of it reminded me of Sydney, which meant that more than one time, I woke Stacey up with my laughing/crying.

Journey though Marley's adventures, and you'll laugh hysterically, and have a good cry, as well. It's well worth it. Besides, who could say no to that face?
